Meeting #1
The Bucyrus Kilbourne Klovers held their 1st meeting on Monday, February 2nd. The club received news of being granted the Award of Distinction for 2025, as well as having the Election of Officers for the 2026 4-H season.

The Bucyrus Kilbourne Klovers will be participating in the following fundraisers and community service: Krispy Kreme, Turning Point, and Orchard Park.

Meeting #2
The Bucyrus Kilbourne Klovers held their 2nd meeting on Monday, March 2nd. Safety Officer Dylan Evans pitched the idea of officer shadowing for members to learn about the roles they have to play when they’re in the office. The Historian Position was un-tabled, and Juliana Taylor was elected the 2026 Bucyrus Kilbourne Klovers Historian.

The Bucyrus Kilbourne Klovers will be participating in the Bratwurst and Cheese fundraiser this year, along with the Krispy Kreme fundraiser. Order forms and money for the Krispy Kreme fundraisers are due April 20th.
The next meeting was held on Monday, March 16th, 2026, at 5:30 pm at the St. John’s United Church of Christ in Bucyrus, Ohio.
Meeting #3
The Bucyrus Kilbourne Klovers held their 3rd meeting on Monday, March 16th. Health Leader, Brayden Perry, discussed Nutrition labels and being able to properly read them. Safety Leader, Dylan Evans, discussed safety during high winds, telling members to stay indoors and away from windows.
The installation of Officers was held at the end of the meeting. Members light a candle and are read aloud their roles by various advisors. This passes on the full responsibility of the officer role to each elected member.
The next meeting was held on Monday, April 6th, 2026, at 5:30 pm at the St. John’s United Church of Christ in Bucyrus, Ohio.
Meeting #4
The Bucyrus Kilbourne Klovers held their 4th meeting on Monday, April 6th. Demonstrations for club members were introduced. Lillian Smith showed the club how to make slime, and Sierra Smith demonstrated a card trick.
4-H project books were passed out, and new members were recognized for joining the club for the 2026 season. Health Leader, Brayden Perry, talked about how oranges boost immunity, and carrots can help your eyesight.

Meeting #5
The Bucyrus Kilbourne Klovers held their 5th meeting on Monday, April 20th. Advisor Sandy Fankhauser passed out the remaining project books to those who needed them. Health Officer Brayden Perry talked to the club about the Glycemic Index and how certain foods break down into sugar when consumed. Safety Officer Dylan Evans informed the group about allergy awareness. He told everyone to clean utensils and not cross-contaminate surfaces used for allergen-free food.
Advisor Sandy introduced the Clover Awards and how you can sign up. Club demonstrations included a mime act, a baking soda and vinegar experiment, and an attempt to set a dollar bill on fire without it actually burning.
The next meeting will be held on Monday, May 3rd, 2026, at 5:30 pm at the St. John’s United Church of Christ in Bucyrus, Ohio.
Meeting #6
The Bucyrus Kilbourne Klovers held their 6th meeting on Monday, May 4th. Health Leader, Brayden Perry, talked to the club about omega three, proper nutrition, and how diets can affect dementia. Safety Officer, Dylan Evans, talked about how AI is expanding across the internet, and be cautious of videos that you may see online.
Advisor Sandy Fankhauser discussed fair week contests to each of the members, and told us she was planning on passing out forms in a future meeting. Members Brayden Perry and Nehemiah Coons, demonstrated to the club how to hook a fishing line and how to jump-start a battery.

Meeting #7
The Bucyrus Kilbourne Klovers held their 7th meeting on Monday, May 18th. Safety Officer, Dylan Evans, talked about safety with wasps and bees. Do not disturb them or jump into any body of water if they are attacking you, because they will wait. Health Officer, Brayden Perry, gave the club 4 ways to stay healthy: drink water, ½ plate of fruits and vegetables every day, limit electronics, and stay active.
Demonstrations from this meeting included: how to save money, making bracelets without a loom, how to make a good impression, and finally, how to make edible playdough.

Meeting #8
The Bucyrus Kilbourne Klovers held their 8th meeting on Monday, June 1st. The club decided to go to the Humane Society on June 12th at 12 pm. Then we will go to various service groups and deliver thank-you cards. Members received flowers to give to neighbors and family. Health Officer, Brayden Perry, talked about how fiber helps with the digestive system, foods high in fiber helps with a better diet, and makes you feel full. Safety Officer, Dylan Evans, talked about how gas leaks are extremely dangerous. If you smell gas, evacuate immediately.
Demonstrations from this meeting involved: making a microscope out of a laser and a drop of water, welding, and making a scrapbook page.

Meeting #9
The Bucyrus Kilbourne Klovers held their 9th meeting on Monday, June 8th. Safety Officer, Dylan Evans, informed the club of Sanding rules that everyone should follow: Making sure it is the right grit so you don’t damage anything, and using the right protection. Health Officer, Brayden Perry, talked about how sweating is beneficial, protecting skin, and keeping skin cool.
Advisor Sandy Fankhouser talked about fair contests and had different members talk about their experiences. Lilly Kitsmiller did a demo on vacuum sealing an egg in a bottle, Brayden Perry did a demonstration on how to use cake decorating items, and finally, Carter Newman did a baking soda and vinegar volcano.
The next meeting will be held on Monday, June 15th, 2026, at 5:30 pm at the St. John’s United Church of Christ in Bucyrus, Ohio.
Meeting #10
The Bucyrus Kilbourne Klovers held their 10th meeting on Monday, June 15th. Health Officer, Brayden Perry, talked about healthy habits. They begin forming during early life stages, so eat healthy foods and get plenty of exercise. Safety Officer, Dylan Evans, warned the club about the dangers of drowning and provided us with swimming classes that cloverbuds could take.
Demonstrations included how to make tzatziki, paper airplanes, pancakes, and the history of the trumpet.

Meeting #11
The Bucyrus Kilbourne Klovers held their 11th meeting on Monday, June 22nd. President Makenzie Sweeney talked about her church camp. They replaced flooring, sorted clothes at a thrift store, volunteered at a food pantry, and stayed at an old school.
Demonstrations included how to tell if eggs are rotten by putting them in water and how to test batteries with cardboard and electric tape.

Meeting #12
The Bucyrus Kilbourne Klovers held their 12th meeting on Monday, June 29th. This meeting had an amazing number of members participating in demonstrations.
These demonstrations involved scrapbooking, how to use a Spirograph, the mention of the band Shinedown and their history, how to make a paper jet, the preparation of pasta salad, how to provide food for families, and finally, how to properly raise chicks.
