Educator, 4-H Youth Development

My name is Allison M. Cooper and I am pleased to announce I have been hired through Ohio State University Extension as the new 4-H Youth Development Educator for Crawford County. As a lifelong resident of Crawford County, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to my hometown community.

In the past, I was an active 10+ year member of 4-H where I had the chance to participate in many activities including camp counselor, junior fair board, and club president. I also took a variety of projects ranging from market beef to photography. After high school, I attended college where I received my Master’s Degree in Agriculture and Extension Education from The Ohio State University. Since my time in 4-H I met my husband Clay and we are currently living on the south end of the county. Clay is also a Crawford County native and he is currently an employee at Burkhart Farm Center.

I am excited to meet all the new volunteers in the program and re-connect with the current volunteers of the county. These first few months will be a learning experience for all of us but I hope that with time I will be able to address your concerns and answer any questions you may have. You may contact me anytime through my email or the office number is (419) 562-8731.
