The OSU Extension Office offers the ServSafetm Class for various groups of people:
ServSafe Food Safety Training and Certification Course. This course is 16 hours of in-depth information and offers the ServSafe test on the fifth day of class. When the test is passed, the participant receives a certificate from ServSafe which is good for 5 years. The next class is offered in March, 2009 at the Crawford County Courthouse, Lower Level Conference Room. I am available to proctor the online course test and/or give the test to those who take the online course. There is a fee -to be determined - for the test and proctoring.

Person In Charge - Serving Safe Food - 4 hour course. This class is for those persons who are working in restaurants, fast food and food service businesses. The person-in-charge may be a manager, food service worker, cook, food handler at convenience stores, grocery stores, school food service and any one who handles quantity cooking.
